Personal Safety or Conflict Resolution

This programme is designed to improve the personal safety of all in the workplace. To help you to identify your duties and responsibilities, as well as options open to you, based within a legal framework when managing conflict. This will enable staff teams or lone workers to feel more confident in their approach when dealing with challenging situations.

This includes being able to:

  • Assess and reduce the risk of violence in the work environment
  • Identify behaviour that indicates an escalation towards violence and take appropriate measures to avoid or calm and defuse the situation
  • Explore lone working strategies and guidelines to promote safer practice
